MYSTERIES OF EDUCATION

Hello!

The COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting lockdown have led to a rethinking of the meaning of education and school in the 21st century.

1) Isn't education nothing more than intense preparation for learning to "hear the wind," that is, to perceive the world around us?

2) How, then, can we broaden our perception of the world around us?

3) Through the acquisition of the immense body of knowledge acquired by humanity?

4) Or will it be through the full development of the various human capacities?

5) Is it possible for a human being with more knowledge and better-developed skills to better anticipate the future, preparing themselves to more easily achieve survival, well-being, or happiness?

6) What is the role of the school in enabling each person to expand their ability to "hear the wind"?

7) Shouldn't we revisit all possible clues from pedagogy, psychology, or neuroscience?

8) What pedagogical project could emerge based on this articulation of all these new clues?

9) What lessons can be learned from a teacher's 30 years of teaching experience?

10) Despite periods of pessimism that humanity may go through, is there still any hope that, with more knowledge and better-developed skills, we can move towards the light of progress?

11) Is it important to know how to listen to the wind that blows, always having a moral compass that shows us the most appropriate path?
